Job Description

VividFront is looking for a Web Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic, integrating front end elements into a site or application, and creating/maintaining databases.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by Front End developers
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Optimizing code for maximum speed and scalability
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  • Design and implement data storage solutions
  • Collaborate with other team members

Required Skills & Experience

  • Basic understanding of front end technologies and platforms including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Proficient knowledge of object oriented PHP
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Data migration, transformation, and scripting
  • Setup and administration of backups
  • Designing database schemas
  • 3+ years of back end development

Good to have Skills & Experience

  • Experience in the LAMP stack with platforms such as WordPress, Magento, Laravel, etc.
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Management of hosting environments, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
