Job Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer responsible for both back end and front end development. This position requires a combination of programming skills including PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript and an understanding of design including color, font size, font type, positioning, etc. The candidate should understand the entire web development process including design, development, and deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality
  • Establishing and helping create the website’s architecture
  • Optimizing code for maximum speed and scalability
  • Implementing all technical requirements of a project
  • Helping guide an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working site or application

Required Skills & Experience

  • Good understanding of front end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or applications
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Strong understanding of object oriented PHP development
  • 3+ years of front end and back end development

Good-to-Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience in the LAMP stack with platforms such as WordPress, Magento, and Laravel
  • Basic understanding of Vue,js, KnockoutJS, and ReactJS
  • Management of hosting environments, including deployment
  • Basic understanding of Twig
